Signing into MyRichmond with email two-factor authentication (2FA) (password + email one time code)

  1. Navigate to Sign-In Page:

    • Locate the field labeled “Email Address” on the login page.
    • Type in the email address associated with your account.
  3. Enter Password:
    • Type in the password in the password field.
  4. Check Email Inbox:
    • Access your email inbox (you may need to open a new tab or window in your web browser or use a separate device).
    • Look for a new email from MyRichmond.
    • Open the email titled “Verification code for MyRichmond login”.
  5. Retrieve One-Time Password (OTP):
    • Open the email and locate the six digit OTP provided.
  6. Enter OTP:
    • Return to the login page of MyRichmond.
    • Find the field labeled “One-Time Password”.
    • Type in the six digit OTP you received in your email.
  7. Access Your Account:
    • If the OTP is correct, you’ll be granted access to your account and redirected to your account dashboard.
  8. Remember to Logout:
    • After you’re done using your account, remember to log out to keep your information secure.
    • Look for the “Logout” option located under the upper right account menu.
